Achievements report

We are currently finishing the manufacturing part of the project and we will soon be able to assemble our robot.
As an example of the production side, this part which aims to put and to maintain the screwdriver into position. (picture)
We mostly used steel and aluminum in order to have enough strengh on the most stressed parts and also to have a good weldability, as for the aluminum it was employ to minimize the weight.
To manufacture our components we used traditionnal machine-tools (turning lathes, milling, drilling machines) as well as numerical controled machining centers.
Some welding operations have been done on steel sheets to assemble them, and grinding machines were used to eliminate some surface defects, mainly on axis.

We are now preparing to assemble our robot while the competition approaches.

Production des différentes pièces


Présentation de quelques pièces de notre robot sur la photo ci-dessus, il manque dorénavant une partie du carter à finaliser, ainsi que quelques axes à usiner.
L'étape de la production étant quasiment terminé, nous allons pouvoir débuter l'assemblage de notre robot.

Version finale du robot



Voici la version finale de notre robot sous Creo grâce à laquelle nous avons pu tirer des plans utiles à la production de nos pièces. Nous avons donc commencé, depuis début février, à usiner tous les composants de notre robot. (Voir prochain article)
